Our site is made available free of charge but you may have to pay to enter our competitions.

Who can use our site?

Our site is only for Registered Driving instructors in Great Britain. Any entries made into competitions by individuals who are not registered driving instructors will be disqualified.

Our site is directed to people residing in United Kingdom. We do not represent that the content available on or through our site is appropriate for use or available in other locations.

You must keep your account details safe

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

Uploading content to our site

You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software.

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. You may link to our website, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?

These terms of use, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any disputes between us.

Minimum ticket sales

A minimum of 1800 tickets need to be sold for the main prize to be given. If less than 1800 tickets are sold, the winner will receive a cash payment amounting to 75% of the total ticket revenue generated for this competition.

Free route to entry

You may enter the competition for free by complying with the following conditions:

  • send your entry on an unenclosed postcard. You must send a clear handwritten postcard or letter (mechanically produced entries are not permitted ) 1st class or 2nd class stamps to the Promoter at the following address: CA Cars, Welford Road, Kilby Bridge, Wigston, Leicester, LE183TE
  • include with your entry the following information:
    • your full name;
    • your address;
    • Your ADI/PDI badge Number
    • a contact telephone number and email address; and
    • your chosen competition exactly as displayed on the website, and if applicable your answer to the Competition Question from the possible answers shown on the website.
  • incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
  • you may make free entries for any competition but each free entry must be submitted and posted to the Promoter separately. Bulk entries in one envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry;
  • by entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions;
  • your entry must be received by the Promoter 3 days prior to the Draw End Date or earlier if the draw is made early, this is to allow the promotors time in which to process your entry. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw;
  • the Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct. The Promotor may not update your online account with the free entry order or allocate ticket numbers until the competition is closed at which point all eligible postal entries will be added.
  • if the number of paid entries reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received, you will not be entered into the random draw.
  • only one free entry per competition may be made per person or per household. If we deem one person is attempting to enter using multiple names and/or addresses all associated entries will be voided.
  • Sending a postal entry does not guarantee entry to the draw. Postal entries will not be counted before the processing time for that day or if the prize has already been drawn.

Refund and Void Entry Policy

No refunds of the entry fee will be provided under any circumstances, including if:

You later find out you are ineligible to enter or claim the prize.

Eligibility rules change after your entry, making you ineligible.

You are disqualified for violating our terms.

Entries may be submitted multiple times until the maximum number is reached. Free entries must be submitted individually. Bulk entries will not be accepted.

An entry will be deemed void (without refund) if the entrant engages in:

  • Fraud (actual or attempted);
  • Fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Fraudulent concealment;
  • Hacking or interference with the website;
  • Unauthorized modification or use of website code.

The prize

The prize for each Competition is described on the Website (the “Prize”). Details of the Prize are, to the best of the our knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.

Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another prize of equal or greater value. If any details of the Prize change, the Promoter will endeavour to update the Website as soon as reasonably possible. For Instant Win Competitions, the Prizes stated on the Website are those that are available to be won. There is no guarantee that all such Prizes will be won and whether and how many Prizes are won will depend on the number of entries into the Competition.

To receive the prize, the winner must collect it from CA Cars, Welford Road, Wigston, LE183TE.

The Promoter takes reasonable steps to award the Prize as described in the Website. The Promoter makes no other representations and gives no warranties about the Prize, its value, its condition or any other information provided on the Website. The Promoter makes no representations and gives no warranties that the information provided on the Website is accurate, complete or up to date.

There is no cash alternative for the Prize unless the minimum ticket threshold is not met in which case the winner will receive 75% of raised funds.

The Prize is not refundable, negotiable or transferable.

If the Prize is a vehicle:

  • CA Cars, unless otherwise stated, ensure it comes with a valid MOT (if required);
  • no insurance is included with the Prize and it is the Winner´s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is adequately insured prior to taking it on the public roads
  • CA Cars has no responsibility for the Prize once it has been collected. The Winner is solely responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations relating to the vehicle, its operation and ensuring they operate it in a safe and responsible manner;
  • no vehicle/road tax is included;
  • the Winner is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary licences, qualification, knowledge and experience to operate the vehicle safely and legally;
  • the Winner is solely responsible for ensuring they have all necessary safety equipment and clothing (for example, helmets, boots and gloves) and for wearing them whilst operating the vehicle.

Claiming the prize

Winners must claim the Prize personally. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the Winner's behalf. Details of how the Prize will be made available for collection will be provided to the winner.

If your personal details, including contact information, changes at any time you should notify us as soon as reasonably possible. Notifications should be sent to the us via email to Info@cacars.co.uk. Notifications must include details of the Competition you have entered, your old details and your new details. If your details change within 10 days of the Closing Date, we will use your old details if it needs to try to contact you.

Any cash Prize will be transferred directly to the Winner's nominated bank account. The Winner must provide evidence that it is the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account.

If the Winner fails to claim the Prize, and/or provide their bank details in respect of any cash Prize to be paid, within 14 days of being notified by us, the Winner will be disqualified from the Competition and the Winner will forfeit the Prize. In such circumstances:

  • for Standard Competitions, CA Cars reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date; or

CA Cars does not accept any responsibility and is not liable to pay any compensation if a Winner is unable to or does not take up the Prize.

CA Cars reserves the right not to award any Prize if the Prize is not claimed by the Winner in accordance with these T&Cs.
